I went here 2 nights ago to grab a slice of pizza since I'm staying at a hotel across the street. The place was super dirty and scary men working there. The guys working there were not wearing gloves, and seemed sick since they were coughing while prepping my food (the combo 1 - slice of pizza and pasta). At this point I tried to still be positive. Then I started eating my food. The pizza tasted okay until I ate half and an eyelash was inside the pizza. I stopped eating that right away since I was disgusted. Then I went to have some pasta which tasted watery and gross after one bite! Never ever ever coming back here.

Food not as fresh as other Sbarros but the Oreo and hazelnut gelatos were amazingly creamy and tasty! Was bothered by a woman who kept saying she was stoned but I guess that comes with being in Miami Beach.

This is a great option if you're staying in South Beach and want to save a bit of money. We were staying next door for two nights. We got a large pizza for dinner and then put the leftovers in our fridge. Then later that night, we had plenty for after the clubs! We got two meals for two people out of that large! Much cheaper than any restaurant in the area. I haven't had true New York pizza since I was a kid, but this was pretty good! After adding a bit of garlic to it, I really enjoyed it!

We stopped in for a late night snack. Great for a quick bite, but only if you're desperate and if there is absolutely nothing in sight to grab something fast. With our luck, there wasn't anything that was as quick so we opted for slices of pizza for under $5 each. The pizza slices looked kinda old, but we needed carbs. Service was OK, although it felt as though they didn't understand what we were asking for ? Not the friendliest of customer service either. It is as if they are forced to be there. The people who hang out here late at night are kinda sketchy - making cat calls and comments as you pass. UGH...

One of my co-worker decided to want to come here for lunch. I was like why the heck not? Let's go give it a try and see what happens? I had already checked out what my fellow yelpers had been saying about it and was in no mood to be the guinea pig. But, sometimes you just have to go with the flow and see what's happened! I definitely did not want pizza just because I wasn't in the mood for it. I opted for a chicken parm which looked appetizing. I made the right choice. It came with a side of yellow rice which was tasty and a caesar salad. The croutons were soggy and I hate soggy croutons!!! Anyways the total with a discount because I work in the beach came out to 8.40 not bad considering it was a big portion. It was tasty not anything out of this world and probably would go for lunch again.

For a snack or quick bite close to my hotel, it was dependable and solid, like any other Sbarro i've ever been to. Spinach and cheese stromboli, slice of cheese pizza and ziti were excellent. The help took care of business. I'm a fan.

I am updating a past review. The food at Sbarro's seems to have improved. I have had the Greek salad recently and it was downright tasty - as a side dish. If you call ahead and order a pizza to share you will get a piping hot, yummy one. The cost is only a few bucks more than buying a couple of slices. Still the best people watching in M.B. (after the beach).

I've been here twice, my first experience was awful specifically with the staff who wanted to overcharge me. I went back last week and had a great experience with the staff!!! They were nice and helpful and the food was okay - exactly what I expected of a Sbarro! They had a meal deal package and suggested it to save $$$ - good experience!!!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
